Went to see a strange sort of a film at the NMPFT in Bradford this afternoon. The film was called Cypher and starred Jeremy Northam as a rather geeky industrial spy.
It had a slightly comic book feel to it and was a sort of science fiction thriller. I can only give it 2½ stars out of 5 though. The story was quite clever but I didn't care at all about the characters. It lacked something; maybe warmth.
Last night, we booked tickets to go and see Elvis Costello in Manchester in a couple of weeks time. I'm really looking forward to that!
I've spent quite a bit of the weekend learning the Greek alphabet. The phonetic part is relatively easy. Writing in upper case isn't too bad, but I'm struggling a bit with letters in lower case; so many funny squiggles.
